2hatte die zweite Prytanie inne, für die Chairephon
3S.d. Archestratos aus dem Demos Kephale Sekretär war; im
4Metageitnion am elften, dem elften (Tag) der
5Prytanie; Haupt-Volksversammlung; von den Vorsitzenden
6leitete die Abstimmung Kleidemos S.d. Phrynon aus dem Demos
7Phlya und seine Mitvorsitzenden. Beschluss von Rat
8und Volk; Demostratos S.d. Aristophanes
9aus dem Demos Paiania stellte den Antrag: Worüber Bericht erstattet
10Aristophanes, der Sohn der Priesterin der Aglauros,
11nämlich über die Opfer, die sie opferte an den Einschreibungs-
12Feiern der Aglauros und dem Ares und dem Helios
13und den Horen und dem Apollon und den
14anderen Göttern, denen es traditionell Brauch war, zu Glück
15und Heil!, wolle beschließen der Rat: dass die Vorsitzenden,
16die den Vorsitz haben werden für die nächste
17Volksversammlung, hierüber verhandeln lassen unter dem
18Punkt „Sakrales“ und die Beschlussvorlage des Rates
19in die Volksversammlung einbringen, wonach der Rat beschließt, dass
20der Rat und das Volk das Gute billigen,
21das geschehen ist bei den Opfern für das Heil und
22die Rettung des Rates und des Volkes der
23Athener und der Kinder und Frauen und für
24den König Antigonos und die Königin
25Phila und ihre Nachkommen; – Da aber
26die Priesterin der Aglauros die Einführungs-
27und die anderen ihr zukommenden Opfer geopfert
28hat; sie auch Sorge trug um die gute Ordnung bei der
29Nachtfeier; sie auch den Altartisch ausgeschmückt hat:
30dass man belobige die Priesterin der Aglauros,
31Timokrite, die Tochter des Polynikos aus dem Demos
32Aphidna, und sie bekränze mit einem Olivenkranz
33wegen ihrer Frömmigkeit gegenüber den Göttern;
34dass diesen Beschluss der Sekretär, der während
35der Prytanie amtiert, aufzeichne auf eine steinerne Stele und
36aufstelle in dem Heiligtum der Aglauros; dass für die
37Aufzeichnung auf die Stele die Finanzverwalter
38die entstandenen Kosten begleichen.

26since the priestess of Aglauros made the introductory
27sacrifices and the sacrifices appropriate to her,

32and to crown her with a foliage crown
