2hatte die sechste Prytanie inne, für die Aischrion
3S.d. Euainetos aus dem Demos RhamnousX Sekretär war;
4im Schaltmonat Posideon am elften, dem
5neunundzwanzigsten (Tag) der Prytanie; Rats-
6versammlung im Piräus; von den Vorsitzenden leitete die Abstimmung
7Tauridas S.d. Dion aus dem Demos Araphen und seine
8Mitvorsitzenden. Beschluss von Rat und Volk;
9Lamprias S.d. Lamprias aus dem Demos Thorai
10stellte den Antrag: Da Aristokreon stets
11wohlwollend ist gegenüber dem Volk und Dienste erweist
12den nach Antiocheia kommenden
13Bürgern; er nach seiner Ankunft in der Stadt
14zum Zweck der philosophischen Lehre seinen Aufenthalt
15in ehrenvoller Weise gestaltete; er auch verkündet, für die
16Zukunft nach seinen Kräften stets Ursache von
17Gutem zu werden speziell für die Ankommenden
18und insgesamt für das Volk, worüber
19ihm Zeugnis abgelegt haben mehrere der - - -
20und der Trankkopferbringer; - Damit nun auch der
21Rat und das Volk öffentlich die Wohltäter
22ehren und angemessenen Dank abstatten, zu Glück
23und Heil!, wolle beschließen der Rat: dass die
24erlosten Vorsitzenden für die kommende Volksversammlung hierüber
25verhandeln lassen und die Beschlussvorlage - - -

4On the eleventh of intercalated Posideon, the
5twenty-ninth of the prytany. Assembly
6in Piraeus. Of the presiding committee
7Tauridas son of Dion of Araphen was putting to the vote
8and his fellow presiding committee members. The Council and the People
9decided. Lamprias son of Lamprias of Thorai
10proposed: since Aristokreon is continually well
11disposed towards the People, and supplies
12what they need to those citizens who come to An-
13tioch and also has spent some time in the city (i.e. Athens)
14for study and has led a decorous life
15and announces that in future
16as far as is within his power he will be the cause
17of some benefit both for individual
18visitors and collectively for the People, about which there are
19very many who have borne witness for him both - - -
20and bearers of a festival truce; so, therefore, that the Council
21and the People may be seen to honour benefactors
22and render fitting gratitude, for good fortune,
23the Council shall decide that the presiding
24committee allotted to preside at the forthcoming Assembly shall
25put this matter on the agenda and submit the opinion - - -
